PSBC Children’s Ministry
Children are so important here at PSBC! Our curriculum is the Gospel Project for Kids: A Bible study resource that shows how Christ fits into the entire gospel story, pre-creation to eternity. And where each one of us fits into it, too. The Gospel Project for Kids is a Christ-centered Bible study resource that follows a chronological timeline of Bible events—presenting the story of redemption through Jesus like kids have never seen it before! Each week, these stories come to life through video, music, activities, and more. Bring your children for Sunday School every Sunday morning at 9:00 a.m. They’ll be glad you did!
Children age 3 and up are invited to come to GPS each Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. for a time of learning, playing, singing, and making friends!
New Location:
1 Ray Street, Greenville SC 29601
PSBC will be hosting GPS (Gospel Project for Students) at the Ray Street Campus of Reconcile Community Church. Through teaching, music, and games, the kids age 3 and up learn about the Gospel, God, the Bible, and about having good relationships with Jesus Christ and with others. We all need some direction in our lives today – especially our children.

PSBC Home Groups
A Priority! But life is so busy! For most of us, adding another weekly event on the calendar just seems to be impossible. We want to encourage you to remember the truths out of Ephesians 4. Growing in Christ (transformation, maturing) is not optional for believers. We are both designed and called to grow (sanctification), to learn how to “walk worthy of the calling with which we have been called.” God has placed in us a hunger for Him, to know Him and to live in fellowship with Him, which is what spiritual training is all about. And frankly, this is to be the priority of our lives.
The Home Groups are not separate, individual Bible studies. Rather, they are linked with the weekly sermon and worship service. We will review the same passage of Scripture that was taught in the sermon, often delving deeper into areas not covered in detail by the preacher. This approach gives us repeated exposure to the material covered and helps us to be hearers and doers of the Word.
Christian Life Academy (CLA: Adult classes)
West End Counseling Center (WECC)
Counselor Scott Stephens
Our biblical “West End Counseling Center” is an important part of the discipleship ministry of Pendleton Street Baptist Church. Paul, in Colossians 3:16a says, “Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom…” We offer scriptural counseling, free to those willing to listen and learn, from one of our biblically trained counselors, confidentially and free of charge. Membership Matters
The purpose of our Membership Matters Class is to help you become better acquainted with Pendleton Street Baptist Church. Whether you are a guest seeking a church home, or you have been attending for a long time, this class is designed to help you discern if God is leading you to join PSBC.
Our approach is simple. We will look at how God has worked in this congregation through the years. Then we will examine the Scriptures and our church documents to understand what it means to be a member of a church, and PSBC in particular. We will also learn about our Church Covenant and what it means for our members. We will cover the Values and Core Doctrines of PSBC, those things that we profess and hold dear.
During this time there will be instruction and interaction, and one of our goals is to introduce you to people that you don’t know, or don’t know well. It is our hope that you will form lasting relationships and strengthen existing relationships through our time together.
